I know. . . this is the moment you have all been waiting for, my Critter Cavalry debut…which has been a long time coming. My name is Warren Beatty and I want to be adopted. You can see by the pictures that I am handsome, of course. I’m a Dobie mix, not much over a year old and weigh about 55 pounds. Unfortunately, I have spent a lot of my youth in a shelter, so I am a bit excited when I meet new people, which does make some people think I am a little hyper…but I’m not…just overly happy right now. But please understand, I spent 4 months of my later puppyhood locked up in a cage and getting very little exercise. So of course, when I get some freedom, I want to run and play. After spending 4 months in the shelter recently I was literally at death’s door. So CCR sent my foster mom to come and give me a chance at life with a real family who loves me. Now my foster mom thinks I am wonderful. I have been out of there only 10 days and I am learning how to settle in and mind my house manners every day. I am crate trained and housetrained. I make a fuss if I am in my crate and have to go out. I come to the back door when I want in. I am still pretty much a puppy, so I love to play. I love to chew on my Nylabone and I enjoy playing in my fenced back yard. I still need some work on leash walking and my foster mom is trying to break me of the habit of jumping on people to give them a kiss. I think it is cute; however most humans don’t think so. I would love to have some children to play with or maybe someone that runs for exercise. I have really long legs. Won’t you please consider making me a permanent member of your home?
