Ben's Story...
Adoption fees for males are $150, females are $175. Senior dogs are $100. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPP, bordetella and rabies, dewormed for any internal parasites, being tested heartworm negative, be spayed/neutered, be micro-chipped and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip as well as 30 days of free pet insurance is also included. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, a bag of dog food, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons. We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts! Foster * Adopt * Spay/Neuter

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Cedartown Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Cedartown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cedartown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedartown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedartown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedartown paves the way for another one to be saved.
