Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey is a a year old Dachsund/spaniel mix who weighs about 12 lbs. Poor Petey was hit by a car in the past and fractured some bones. He is healing up nicely but we do not yet know whether he will need more medical treatment in the future. Petey is housetrained and is a low energy dog. He is a little fearful of other dogs and can be aggressive with them. He is shy, gentle, smart and easy going. He is friendly to everyone – even strangers and young children but he is a little defensive around other dogs. He is looking for his forever home and a patient person who will help him overcome his concern about being around other dogs.
