My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Little, Sweet Pixie! This little gal was surrendered to our care by a family that was going through a rough time and transition. She was in a temporary home with two other very big dogs and the play got a little rough and Pixie had her head injured. So, also for her own safety and well being she was surrendered to our care. She is recovering from some head wounds that were treated with a local vet. Dear Miss Pixie was born with a shortened left leg that she does not use to get around. She can run and walk fine on three legs. She is just about the happiest girl you would ever meet with a deep loving little soul. Pixie is fostered with a few other senior pugs and a corgi mix who loves to play with her. He has a hard time keeping up with her when she starts her “zoomies.” Pixie has also mastered the two steps coming down from the couch and her foster mom is helping her learn the way up which is a big more difficult, but she is determined. Pixie likes to sleep in her own bed close to yours and peacefully through the night. She has quite the appetite and as her guardians, we want to make sure that she maintains an ideal weight to not put added stress on her joints. She is just the cutest little package of pug love and everyone who meets her gets love and kisses, she is one happy girl.
