ZEKE's Story...

4 yr old Maltese x male- 12 lbs.

Zeke is a little gentleman, calm and well behaved. He is also playful when it's time to play and very loving to everyone. He is a great companion to people or another low energy dog. Please note that he is blind in one eye, but he sees perfectly with his other eye and this doesn't stop him in any way to be a normal dog.
Whoever takes this gentle and obedient loving dog will be very happy with the adoption. Excellent for a retired person or to keep another gentle doggy company.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZEKE, a Irvine Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
