Tavo is a sweet, well-behaved boy. He gets along well with other dogs, including smaller dogs, and both children and adults. He is gentle and loves cuddling and belly rubs. His two favorite things are sleeping on the couch and loving on his toy pig. In fact, he acts a little "depressed" sometimes when his foster parents take the toys/pig away to get his attention to play etc. He does very well in his crate and uses the doggie door to go out when he needs to potty. He likes to "landscape" and explore around the yard. Tavo does not seem to like things like bread, crackers, etc. but does like cheese and doggie treats/bones. He is very gentle and doesn't "snatch" things out of your hand when you give them to him. Tavo has a fun, inquisitive personality but is not overly hyper.
Tavo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite free and on prevention.

Our adoption fee is $350. The fee is a donation to help us pay for spay/neuter, vaccinations, parasite treatments if necessary, and microchip. Our dogs are housed in foster homes where they learn manners, such as housetraining.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tavo, a Clay Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Clay, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Clay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clay paves the way for another one to be saved.
