Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are looking for a very special home for a very special cat. Meet Grendel! He lost his home, which he has had since he was a kitten, 15 years ago!!!! Last Fall his family decided to adopt a German Shepherd, who attacked Grendel and the family then decided that Grendel had to go. A kind person offered to take Grendel, but Grendel had been an only cat his entire life and could not adjust to living with other cats. His original family then decided that Grendel was going to be killed, even though he has no known health issues. Another kind soul, Melissa, contacted us to see if we could find a new home for him and brought him to us today. He is very friendly and likes attention. He was letting us, total strangers to him, pet him today and he even rubbed against my hand, just minutes after meeting me.
Grendel is a gray and white short haired boy. He has such a handsome face and just a great personality. Now we would really like to find this guy a forever home, where he can be the "king of the castle". I Think Grendel will be the perfect buddy for someone who is looking for an older calmer kitty. Grendel deserves a loving home for his remaining years. If you or someone you know, can give him a home, please come and meet him or contact us.
