Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Hello, everyone! My name is ROSIE, and I'm about as cute as they come. I'm a one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, so you know right away that I'm a gal with spirit. My owner brought me to the El Cajon Animal Shelter because I have exercise needs that he's unable to accommodate. I need a good long walk every day, and I need room to run around. I'd probably enjoy going to the dog park, too, since I like to play with other dogs. After I get my exercise, I'm ready to settle down and snuggle. I'm very affectionate and cuddly. I'm a smart dog, so I might even take to agility training. I already know how to sit on command, and I've already been house trained. I'd do best in a home where my owner is a gentle, but firm, pack leader. I'd like to be in either an adult home, or in a family where the kids are older and considerate of me. I can be a little concerned in new situations, so I'd want my people to understand my needs. Won't you stop by soon so we can visit in the lovely play yard that they have here? I have a lot of love to give, and I'm sure to be the loyal companion that you've been searching for. Love, Rosie" Kennel #9
