A068180's Story...
Duplicate Listing - A068180 - 9 month old brown male Pit Bull mix currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter and has been attending adoption events with Heart of America Humane Society at Ward Parkway Petsmart for the last few weeks. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when you can meet him at (816) 969-1640 and they are located at 1991 SE Hamblen Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64082. This guy weighs 51 pounds. He will sit and go down for treats and toys. He is very playful and loves to roll over on his back for belly rubs. Absolutely adorable puppy face. He is very loving. He will jump on you, give you a hug, and kisses. He also sits like a frog and it is very cute. He is probably better with older kids as he tends to jump and pulls on the leash. He was great with the older kids. He is a very happy, fun loving boy who needs to be in an active home to help him run off some of that puppy energy. He may be housetrained as he hasn't had any accidents at the adoption events. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when and where you can meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A068180, a Overland Park American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
