Sheba's Story...
Sheba is a quiet, loving little girl. At 3 yrs old and 9 lb, she is a wonderful little companion for just about anyone. She loves to cuddle and be near her person, and has an extremely kind and laid back personality.

Sheba came into rescue very shy and very timid - But with the wonderful work and patience of her Foster Family, she has adjusted wonderfully to a happy and loving girl.

We are looking for a quieter household for Sheba so that she can continue to improve and socialize without being overwhelmed with too much loud noise and high energy.

If you would like to apply to adopt Sheba, please visit our website and submit the online adoption application:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheba, a Vancouver Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
