Dove's Story...
The Dove symbolizes Peace, Hope, and Prosperity. You’ll find Peace with me by your side, and I’ll provide all the companionship you could ever Hope for, leaving your heart feeling Prosperous. I just request your loving dedication and support to help spread my message of goodwill. I bring peace and playful companionship to dogs that I meet, I would enjoy helping teach children how to be courteous and respectful to animals, and even though I may chase a cat once in a while, it is all in good fun and I mean them no harm. I was given this wonderful opportunity at a second chance at life, and I am not going to take a second for granted. I have made a very rigorous effort in my crate training and love having my own time for meditation. I am just one dog, but I can be the world to you, just like I know you will be the world to me. 1 1/2 years old-56lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dove, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
