Hi there!
My name is Lucas and I am a 3 year old male Poodle who came to NBS Animal Rescue when a kind person found me wandering as a stray in Eastpointe. The kind person called NBS Animal Rescue and they jumped into action to help me feel better. My fur was so severely matted that the doggy doctor had to shave me under anesthesia because I was in so much pain.
I'm much better now though and got a clean bill of health from the doggy doctor! I am a sweet fella when I am comfortable in my environment and with the people around me. I am pretty shy at first though and need a home that is quiet, calm, and does not have any kids. I would love a fenced yard to romp and play in and another gentle playing canine companion would be good too! I am up to date on all of my vaccines, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped and learning how to potty outside in my new foster home.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
