When asked to describe Troy, his foster mom gave all of the basic information and then she said..Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley, that's Troy. Apparently Troy has made quite an impression in just a few short weeks. Needless to say, this sweet boy, is pretty special. Troy is a 10 month old tan and black Australian Shepherd mix weighing 35 lbs. He is of a small stature and will likely not get bigger other than to fill out with a few extra needed pounds. Troy was out of time and in desperate need of a miracle. This little guy was meant to be here. He was pulled into rescue with little time to spare and his loving nature and spirit have been a testament to how 'undamaged' shelter dogs are. Troy loves with all his heart and wants nothing more than to be with his people. He is a smart little guy too. He has already mastered sit, roll over and down. He is a very calm boy, great on leash and loves going on walks. Sure he plays with toys and all but his favorite thing to do is just snuggle and be nuzzled. Troy is house trained and his potty manners are spot on with frequent reminders to avoid any accidents. In keeping with his loving tender demeanor, Troy also loves being with others. He isn't picky. He loves you, dog, cat, kid or adult, it just doesn't matter to him, he's going to love you....period. Troy is completely vetted and ready for his forever family. He is, of course, already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on all preventatives. All Troy needs now are the ones who will love him tender, true, and till the end of time because he's going to love you.....always.
