~ ADOPTION PENDING ~
You may meet and apply to adopt Pickles at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
Pickles is a male Jack Russell Terrier mix approximately 2 years in age. He has a pretty tricolor coat that is medium in length and easy to brush out and maintain. Pickles has an adorable big puppy nose and expressive, kind eyes. The markings around his face and eyes are vivid and striking. Pickles is a nice sized boy, weighing in at 14 pounds full grown. He is smart, easily trained, obedient and responsive to commands. He knows how to play fetch and is a regular at the dog park. He is eager to please his people and will wiggle up to you for pats and attention. Pickles gets along fine with other dogs and will play with his favorite doggie friends that he knows. He prefers dogs his own size or maybe a little bit bigger to tussle and romp around with. Pickles will be the first one to greet you in the morning with his tail wagging a mile a minute. He wants the stability of a home that he can call his own. Pickles will thrive in a home with one or two adults where daily life is simple and predictable. Children tend to make him nervous and he will probably not do well with young kids. He is very easy to manage inside the home and loves playtime in the backyard along with walks. Pickles came to us along with 6 other dogs (also posted on our website) that were rescued from a hoarding situation - there were 60 dogs total kept in a single home! Pickles has never had anyone to dote on him and so he is eager to please and find that special someone. Pickles is a healthy boy and ready for his new forever home today!
Pickles’ adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Pickles is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
