Dolly is a female Jack Russell Terrier mix only 2 years in age. She has a pretty tricolor coat that is medium in length and easy to brush out and maintain. Her coloring is vivid and striking. Dolly is a nice manageable size, weighing in at 12 pounds full grown. She is a gentle dog, submissive, smart and attentive. She does well with lots of praise, petting, snuggling and encouragement. Dolly has a tender, sweet heart and a kind soul. She is great with kids, gently playful with other dogs her size and is always a good girl. She tries to fit in wherever she finds herself and is never any trouble. Dolly adores attention and loves being a lap dog. She will wiggle up close and sometimes roll on her back directly in front of you for a belly rub. The more snuggling this darling pup gets, the happier she is. Out and about she likes to be carried and kept safe and close. She is learning how to walk on leash with a harness and rides very quietly in the car. She has a nice amount of energy for romping around in the backyard or maybe a trip to the park with the kids. Dolly came to us along with 6 other dogs (also posted on our website) that were rescued from a hoarding situation - there were 60 dogs total kept in a single home! Dolly has never had anyone to dote on her and so she is eager to please and will do anything to gain your favor. She tries so hard to be a good girl. Dolly is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!

Dolly’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Dolly is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Dolly at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, MAY 9th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DOLLY, a Newport Beach Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
