Afly Jon Lester's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Afly Jon Lester's Story...
Lester is 18 months old. He will be 2 years old in September. Yes, you guessed it, he didn't want to chase the lure. He is calm for his age also.

Lester has been good with small dogs and is now being fostered with an additional pet. A Cat. Notice how relaxed the cat is and Lester is just standing there.

Lester is learning all the house rules at this time. House manners, doggy beds, sharing, and lots of new sights and smells are being introduced in his early retirement. Lester is a beautiful boy.

The x-racing Greyhounds are being fostered in our private homes. We teach them about living as a family member with lots of love and a few rules. Check out our website, to obtain additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Afly Jon Lester, a Knoxville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
