My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fritz is a 5 year old 19 pound Westie that came to us from an animal control facility. He was picked up roaming the streets. Fritz was dirty and flea-infested, and walked with a limp on his left rear leg. A plea went out to rescue groups to get him from animal control, and we did.

The next day we went to see Dr. Whittle at Paces Frry Veterinary Clinic, where x-rays showed that poor little Fritz has a problem in his hip socket and the top of his femur that will require surgery. Fritz is scheduled for that on April 14th. In the meantime, Fritz is settled in at his foster home where he has shown us that he is housebroken, well-behaved when left unattended and that he gets along well with other dogs, both large and small.

Fritz has a wonderful temperament for a terrier: he's calm and affectionate but not needy. Fritz eats well, and now has no fleas, so we think his coat will grow in nice and shiny and full.
