My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a very sweet 3 year old spayed female smooth Border Collie x Whippet mix. She has a need for only short walks three times a day which makes her an unusual dog for a herding breed. Rosie had an old injury and was lucky enough to be a stray that ended up in the back yard of a veterinary hospital. The wonderful staff took her in and gave her the hip surgery she desperately needed . She is recovering nicely and will be back to normal soon.

Rosie will be best as an only dog because she can be bossy with other dogs. She is crate and house trained . She is medium-low energy and loves to take quiet walks with her people and dog friends. Rosie has politely met the cats in her foster home and touched noses without showing an interest in chasing, although that can't be ruled out. She is a dog who loves to snuggle, likes riding in the car and will likely enjoy learning a few tricks. Rosie is up to date on vaccines, Heartworm negative and on Heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
