Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you would like to be considered for Carly, please fill out our adoption application on this page: http://medfieldshelter.com/dog_applications/new
Carly is an adorable small breed dog. We are guessing at her mix. She is very shy when you first meet her, but you can win her over if you spend time with her and then she wants to be your best friend, sit in your lap and give kisses. She seems to like kids, but gets very excited when they run around so would be best suited for a home with no young kids. She weighs 7 lbs. and is approximately one year old. She likes the other small dogs she has met, but can be a bit bossy.
She was spayed on April 3rd and is now ready for a home.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/dog_applications/new. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.
With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
