Friday's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING 4/13/15
Say hello to Friday. You’re probably wondering how she got her name. She was found in a field, yep you guessed it, on a Friday. She was alone, thin and scared. A family took her in and tried to find her owners to no avail. Friday is an active little girl, she is young probably around 1-2 years and she loves to give kisses, go on walks, and car rides. Her favorite past time is to sit in your lap and be petted. Friday is about 7.9 lbs.

Friday can sit, lay down and is leash trained and is learning to fetch. She is also house broken with a doggie door and does not bark, except when someone comes to the door. She lives with another small male dog in her home whom she does very well with. She also lives with a kitty whom she likes to chase. So she would need more training around cats who may not enjoy this particular activity. She has been around visiting children and did well. Friday has also been around large dogs and she seems to enjoy playing with them. She would do best in a home with a male dog. If alone she will need lots of exercise. Friday is spayed, UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative, started on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $175. She is a wonderful dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Friday, a Vacaville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
