Bandida's Story...
Bandida aka Flaca is a border collie mix, ~ 1.5-2 years old, 26 lbs.
She loves people, dogs and is cat curious. Bandita loves to run on the beach with her pack and chew on her toys.
Lives indoors but has access to the backyard to go out potty; sleeps with her foster and pack of K9 friends. Walks great on leash and rides excellent in the car!
A home with other dogs would be ideal as she is super social and likes their company.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandida, a San Diego Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
