KELLAN's Story...
My name is Kellan and I am a 35 pound, 9 month old, male Border Collie mix, who is handsome as can be and not at all hyper. My foster mom adores me and thinks I am the best boy in the world! I don't want to brag, but I have heard my foster mom use the following words to describe me; handsome, sweet, perfection, lovey, fluffy-puffy, awesome, etc. I am your typical big lug of a pup, a little on the calm side and I just love everyone. I would be great in a home with children of any size, dogs, cats, you name it and I will be great with them! I love to chase a ball, although I will not bring it back to you yet. I have not had any accidents in the house and I sleep quietly in my crate. I would love a fenced yard to romp around in and would be happy to go wherever you do! If you think you would like to be my forever person or family, please contact us. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KELLAN, a Salem Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Salem, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
