Whitey's Story...
**COURTESY POST**

This poor baby boy was kicked out of his home when his mom started dating someone who didn’t like cats. He would wait at the door day and night trying to get back into the house. A couple weeks ago I noticed he was starting to not look good and had gotten into more then a few fights. I was able to convince the owner to let me take “Whitey” to the vet. He has been cleaned up and checked for any diseases. He is a young kitty and has a clean bill of health. I was able to convince the owner to let me find whitey a loving home. His wounds are healing quiet nicely and he is ready to join a new loving family. All he wants is love and to sit on your lap and cuddle. He is extremely friendly and not aggressive. If you have any questions or want to met Whitey please contact Jean.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whitey, a Houston Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Houston, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
