CAT OF THE MONTH: 2-year old Gus is a handsome boy who is learning to trust. He’s a really frendly boy, but he’s nervous to get to know people at first. This makes placing him particularly difficult, as most people who visit take very quickly to an animal, and if they don’t act enthusiastic to see a person, they are overlooked for an animal who puts on more of a show. Gus came to us very rough-looking and beat-up from being outside during the winter, having been abandoned by his owner. He’s a nice cat, who will sprawl-out to stretch once he’s comfy, and he particularly loves to be rubbed on his face. Please come spend some time with this shy guy today, he’s deserving of a great home and his fair share of love.

At Care for Animals/PAAWS RI we Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday - Thursday 8-5, Friday 9-3, and every other Saturday 9-1. We're also happy to set up weekend appointments.
