Boomer's Story...
Meet Boomer, you may remember him as Midnight. He was adopted from the shelter about 3 weeks ago and is back now. He was surrendered by his owner. This hunk of burning love is 4 mths old and weighs 35 lbs. He walks well on a leash, plays well with children, friendly, playful and housebroken. We had him in our lobby briefly and he quickly found the couch and settled right in. Boomer has been completely vetted and hopes his stay here is short!

Act quickly to adopt Boomer. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Conway Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Conway, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Conway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conway paves the way for another one to be saved.
