Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB March 15, 2007.
Matt is a muscular orange-and-white boy cat with the heart of a kitten: playful, active, and curious. He takes a very keen interest in what’s happening in his backyard, and spends a considerable amount of each day looking out of the windows. He’s still not entirely sure whether lap cuddles are appropriate for a cat of his strength and seniority, so he won’t spend too much time on a lap, but he loves to curl up next to you, and snuggle up beside you at night.
He doesn’t like other cats — and will let the cats visiting the back yard know it through the windows — but he is very playful with humans. He’s active, and loves playing with toy mice and chasing balls around the floor. If he was human, he’d have been a decent volleyball player — he likes to bat back balls for you. But if you’re busy, he’s also happy to start playing games by himself. He can get a little over-excited in play, and he is both strong and fast, so he’d be better in a home without very young children.
Matt has had to have some dental work done, so he’s missing a fang and a couple of molars, and he will probably be better on wet food eventually, but he loves his kibbles, and so far he’s coping fine with them at his foster parent's home. He's a quiet cat and doesn't meow much, but when he does, he has a very lovely low meow.
Matt is a sweet and friendly boy who would love to find a forever home (with windows with a great view!) so he can play and let loose the kitten in his heart.
