Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I’m Bubbles. That may seem like a silly name for a big guy like me but I’m really just a 4-year-old, 17 Lb. gentle giant. My best pal Orange and I came to The Pet Rescue Center after our owner developed severe allergies to cats. Even though we tried really hard not to shed, her health was starting to suffer and with a heavy heart the family decided it was best to find another home for us both. The staff at The Pet Rescue Center tell me that I am not “a typical cat”. They say I’m almost more like a dog. Though I’m not sure I like the sound of that, they seem to mean it as a compliment. I am super affectionate, very curious and not easily frightened. I also grew up with young children and have learned to be very tolerant of kids. I am not the most active of cats though I do enjoy chasing and playing with my buddy Orange. He can keep all the toys though. If you’re looking to me one cool kitty who is also a big softy give me a call at The Pet Rescue Center.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
