My story

Sawyer is an incredible love bug who wants nothing more than to be with his people. Sawyer will rub up against you to request attention and once he gets it, whether in the form of petting or brushing, he trills with happiness! He enjoys a good conversation too, eager to share what’s on his mind and just as interested in hearing your thoughts!

Sawyer is energetic and curious – he loves to explore!

Sawyer was recently rescued from a hoarding situation; as a result he looked pretty rough when we first met him. Sawyer is considerably underweight but he is happily partaking in our efforts to get some meat on his bones…so far he hasn’t met a meal he didn’t like! He also is feeling and looking much better after a much needed bath, which he came through like a champ! You’ll notice that one of Sawyer’s eyes is cloudy – this is an old eye injury which left a permanent scar on his eye. No treatment is necessary and after being in Sawyer’s presence for a few seconds you’ll see that it doesn’t slow him down at all!

Sawyer is very interested in making friends with other kitties…even in the face of being hissed at, Sawyer doesn’t give up – he still wants to be friends! Sawyer is a great guy, who despite a rough start to life, doesn’t seem to let anything get him down!
