AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Meet AJ, affectionately called Grandpa at the kennel where he was staying. AJ acts as if he has a gruff exterior; kind of like the old man yelling at kids to 'get off my lawn'! But in reality, AJ is a big mush. He loves being with you, going on walks or car rides, meeting new people, watching the world go by (occasionally voicing his opinion). And at the end of the day, he will crawl in bed with you, snuggling under the covers. AJ is 7 years old and is currently looking for a forever home in the Richmond, VA area. Kids are okay.
