Howie here—what’s the haps? Howie you doing? I’m just hangin’ here at the shelter waiting for my perfect forever home. I’m a patient guy, playful yet shy, and over-the-top sweet with those I trust. I really just need a patient person to raise me right, give me lots of love, lots of guidance, and lots of training. I have loads of potential but am lacking stability…sometimes it feels like I don’t know which way is up! I get anxious easily and sometimes I act out if feeling threatened. So, a very patient family with no cats and only the most respectful children 10+ will be best for me. I was a bit shy around other dogs initially, but I am learning how to play and am trying my best to learn how to share my toys with them—let me tell ya, the more socialization and playtime I get, the funner it becomes! The more I learn, the more guidance I receive, the more places I go, the more confident I will be! I’ve already got my crate training and housetraining nailed.
