Zena - Adopted's Story...
Adopted 6/12/15
Zena is such a sweet girl. She is on the timid side, but once she is taken outside she warms up quickly. This girl is a volunteer favorite. She is only around 40lbs and loves to cuddle. She loves people but can be a bit doggie select and that is why we suggest a meet and greet with any other doggies in the home to make sure everyone gets along. We are hoping she finds a home soon as she has been here a while. She deserves a second chance and at loving home. Come visit with Zena this week at the shelter. Shelter Hours are Mon - Fri 12pm - 6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zena - Adopted, a Flint Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Flint, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Flint.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flint already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flint breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flint paves the way for another one to be saved.
