Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isabella (aka Izzy) is approx. 3 years old and weighs 14 lbs. This adorable little girl was a stray and we don't know how she got into such poor condition with a long, severely matted coat and skin and ear infections but with proper vetting, grooming and lots of love, she is now a healthy, happy dog.
Izzy has a lot of spunk and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.
When meeting new people she can take a little while to warm up but generally it doesn't take her too long.
She likes to explore and can jump pretty high. She will jump up on tables and get into things so she needs an adopter willing to make sure anything that might harm her is kept out of her reach while she is learning her boundaries.
She likes to cuddle with you when she wants some love and attention.
Izzy gets anxious during storms and will pace and bark when she hears thunder. We tried a thundershirt and that helped a little but she will settle down once she gets under the bed to calm herself during storms.
Izzy is mostly house trained but has an occasional accident in the house. She needs a home where she'll be kept on a schedule to help her settle into a new routine.
Due to her small size we are requiring a home without small children under 8 years old.
No out of state adoptions. Must live in the greater Cleveland/Akron area.
A securely fenced yard (minimum 4 foot fence) is required. NO INVISIBLE FENCES, NO EXCEPTIONS!
A home with at least one other playful dog is also required so this little girl can have the quality of life she deserves! NO EXCEPTIONS!
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
