Mary Jane's Story...
Sweet Spidey and her pups were rescued from Effingham County Animal Control. Their mom is a Pointer mix, but we think the puppies may have some Newfoundland in them. They like playing in the water and giving cuddles!

The puppies will be ready to go home in May. They will be current on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption fees are $40 per feline and $150 per canine unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary Jane, a Savannah Newfoundland/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Pointer for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Newfoundland/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Pointer breeders who help with Newfoundland/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
