Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING for DUKE. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Jenna at jennabean14@gmail.com or Jenell at ODR, Inc. 503 313 3220, jrangan@comcast.net.
DUKE is a handsome, young, 9 month old brindle pit bull mix puppy with boundless love and 80 lbs of energy. He knows basic commands, is leash, house and car trained and current on his vaccinations. DUKE loves everyone and is very friendly. He is being surrendered because his current human parents work full time and don't have enough time to spend with him...you see Duke, like most puppies, loves being with his human family and needs someone to walk, run, play with and most importantly, train him. He loves to be outside, rain or shine running and playing...he just needs someone to do it with. Are you the kind of family looking for a loving pet like DUKE?
ODR, INC ADOPTION CRITERIA:
Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Do you have a securely fenced and large yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older. For the health of the rescues, we prefer non smokers. We also prefer homes with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. The adoption fee is $200.00; sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other dogs that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
Just a reminder that this is a COURTESY LISTING for DUKE. He is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information, including an adoption application, please contact Jenna at jennabean14@gmail.com or Jenell at ODR, Inc. 503 313 3220, jrangan@comcast.net.
