Boris's Story...
Foster Adoption gift; foster covered all expenses

Boris is a sweet and fun 8 year old Husky/Shepherd boy. Do not let his age fool you, he hasn't slowed down. He gets along well with other dogs, but does not like them getting right in his face. He has his manners and likes other dogs that have theirs. He plays very well though and doesn't mind cats. He is a true gentleman and a love bug. Very attentive and wants to please. Boris loves to just lay his paw on you as if he is holding your hand or leg.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris, a Arlington Heights German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Arlington Heights, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Arlington Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
