Heather's Story...
Heather
Brown Tabby
6 months old

Hi...my name is Heather. I'm named after the SCBI volunteer who saved me from the streets of Norristown. I was running and scared so when Heather called to me, I ran to her. I feel very happy now that I'm safe and secure in my foster home. It would have been a hard life for me as I was not spayed and in a little while, I would have been pregnant. I'm still a baby myself....so I feel very lucky.

If you are looking for a very sweet, playful and loving little girl -- then that's me. I love affection, will come when you call me, love other cats, and would be a really good new member of your family.

I'm very petite and pretty, too, don't you think? My beautiful tabby coat has stripes and dots...very unique. I'm fully vetted, too, and one of the sweetest kitties you will ever meet... I'm waiting for YOU.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heather, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
