Atlas's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Atlas's Story...
Atlas - 6 month old purebred Anatolian Shepherd male pup. Atlas was intercepted from being surrendered to the shelter by his owners. Apparently the tiny pup his older owners brought home at 8 weeks became more than they could handle as he approached 75 lbs. A full grown male Anatolian shepherd will typically weigh between 90 - 150 lbs, and Atlas is well on his way there. He is a gorgeous, good hearted boy who is very friendly with people. He is playful and silly like most puppies his age, but his size can be intimidating to other dogs so we recommend he go to an only-dog home right now. Prospective adopters need to have a large yard and an athletic lifestyle, as well as prior large-dog experience. Please research the breed! Atlas can be seen anytime at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Playcare in El Segundo Call 310-606-5507 or email southbaydoggie@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Atlas, a Redondo Beach Anatolian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
