Weight: 20 pounds
Age: 2 years
Personality: Super sweet, affectionate, friendly with everyone. Bella has a really nice temperament and would be perfect with kids or an active family who enjoys taking their dogs places.
Coat: Cockers have silky hair and often don't shed. She will need to be regularly bathed and groomed, typically every 8 weeks. Coat can be grown out long (with weekly baths and brushing) or kept short in an easy to maintain puppy cut.
Training: Knows sit, down and stay. A positive reinforcement training class is recommended to bond you to Bella and help her to be a good K9 citizen.
Potty trained: YES
Health: Excellent
History: Bella was abandoned by her owner at a grooming shop in South Korea. She lived at the grooming shop for a year, trying to find another home. Cockers have a very difficult time getting adopting in Korea since they prefer toy size dogs, so she came to California to find a loving home.
Fostered in: Placentia
Type of home: Any, easy dog, as long as she receives enough attention and exercise
Crate trained: YES
Good with Dogs: YES, foster home has another Cocker
Good with Kids: YES
Good with Cats: unknown
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
