Gabe's Info...

Gabe's Story...
I’m Gabe, the quieter and more timid brother of Gabby. While we’re both tuxedo cats, you can tell it’s me by the sweet little pink nose I sport in the middle of my furry face. I’m definitely more reserved (but just as sweet) as my sister. I love to be pet – especially while I’m lying in my favorite place – the leopard-printed kitty hiding tunnel. You might see my tummy peeking out from one of the “portals” in the side of the tunnels – feel free to pet my belly! I do well with all of the other kitties here in the FOHA communal cattery and would do fine in a multi-feline household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabe, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
