Hazel's Story...
You’ll fall in love with this adorable gal! Tiny and sweet, she’s got a big personality!

Future mama dog Lady liked to follow a guy as he rode his bicycle to his work cutting lawns. Last year, she had four puppies in a culvert, but only two survived. Lady’s care was less than perfect. When the guy could no longer keep Lady, she was adopted, vaccinated and loved! Very soon, Lady began to put on weight and it was clear she was going to have puppies.

Hazel, Magdalena, Hennessy, Chivas, Walker, and Macallan are healthy, happy pups looking for their forever homes. They need safe and loving homes where they will have consistent training, walks and play time. They will be loyal and devoted, and are looking forward to meeting your friends and family and going places with you, as it is important for puppies to meet people and other dogs, and experience different situations.

You are going to love Hazel! She is small but mighty, and perfect for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Houston Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
