Reggie's Story...
This handsome boy is Reggie. Him and his sister Rena were owner surrendered from some folks that were not taking care of them at all. They were so skinny, no puppy shots, bad skin and unsocialized. Within 2 weeks, Reggie has really blossomed! He is still a bit shy but coming out of that quickly. The mother looked like a golden retriever and the people said a local yellow lab was the father but since they let the mother roam freely- there was no telling how many daddies. Whatever Reggie is- he is gorgeous. He is estimated to be about 4 months old and about 25 pounds so he should be a med-large adult dog. He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines, wormed several times, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. Reggie is located in ARKANSAS but we have transport that travels to the Northeast every weekend to deliver ADOPTED dogs. The transport is Got Orphans Transport and you can check them out at www.gotransporters.com For more info and an application on Reggie- email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com Thank you so much for considering one of my rescues!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reggie, a Trenton Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
