Chester's Story...
How can you resist this face? Ten month old Chester started out as part of a feral colony but has quickly adapted to being a cat of luxury. He's still a bit timid but that will lessen with time. He's a big kitten with mooshy soft fur who LOVES to play and cuddle, and is very inquisitive! He's still small so he's got some growing to do. One ear is clipped because when he was trapped we weren't sure if he would be tame enough to adopt out, and if he was returned to the colony we wanted to make sure that we knew he had been done. It doesn't detract from his good looks one bit though!

Chester is neutered and up to date on shots, good with other cats (after an appropriate introduction period), and ready to find his new home. His adoption fee is $35. Please see our Adoption FAQ page for more info at www.dotsplaceanimalhaven.pw.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Seneca Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seneca, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Seneca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seneca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seneca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seneca paves the way for another one to be saved.
