BALA's Story...

Bala is a sweet, playful bouncing baby girl! She keeps herself busy by playing with one of her many toys or wrestling with one of her siblings. Bala also enjoys being petted, kissed and loved when she takes a break from her action packed day! Bala would love to be adopted with her brother Dallas (listed seperately), or have a new feline family member to play with. This love bug is 18 weeks old, good with cats, dogs, kids, spayed, vaccinated, flea/worm/mite free and tested negative for FIV/FELV! Bala's mom Delilah (also available for adoption!) was rescued just before she gave birth to 7 sweethearts on January 18th., and her lucky babies were therefore spared the hard life of an outdoor cat. If you would like to have this sweet kitty join your family, please contact us! Application, adoption fee and home visit required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BALA, a Ridgewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ridgewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ridgewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
