MISSA's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

MISSA's Story...

Missa is a beautiful, sweet girl and if that wasn't enough, she's also an orange tabby which is rare since they are usually male!  She is a calm, loving cat who can be found lounging around the home taking a cat nap or playing with one of her favorite toys!  Missa Cat was coldly thrown on the streets of Brooklyn where a kind hearted couple found her and contacted us.  She is now indoors safe and sound where she deserves to be and awaiting a permanent family to call her own. This young girl is spayed, vaccinated, flea/worm free and FIV negative & FELV positive and therefore must be an only cat OR in a home with another FELV positive cat.  Her FELV status has had NO effect whatsoever on her health, and she is a regular happy, healthy little girl who just wants another shot at a better life.  Application, $100 adoption fee to help cover medical expenses and home visit required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MISSA, a Ridgewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ridgewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ridgewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
