FANCY GIRL's Story...
This is Fancy Girl and she is a homeless Golden Retriever mix female that is a total sweetheart. This precious young girl is only 1- 2 years old, weighs about 70 pounds and was sadly brought to the shelter by her owners because they were tired of keeping her tied up. They did not have time for her and they felt guilty about it so instead they took to a high kill shelter in KY and walked away. This sweet dog is just a love and adores being in the house with her people. Despite this terrible life of emotional neglect in her past, she still has a big smile and happy tail wag for the people who speak to her and give her a little time and attention. Fancy is still a young dog that needs some polishing and training. What a treasure a family will have if they take this Fancy Girl home. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

FANCY GIRL, a Salem Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
