Helena the Bearded Lady's Story...
Welcome to my home! Well the one I am at until my new family comes to get me….I don't know who they are quite yet but I will know soon I hope! My name is Helena the bearded lady. Yes I have a beard, no I don't trim it often, yes it has to be brushed occasionally and no, I don't think it looks bad at all. In fact don't I look cute! I am a 3 year old, not spayed female, black with a touch of white Scottish Terrier mix. I was brought by a person who couldn't keep me where they were living. Unfortunately, I have been very unlucky and have been passed around a few times now. I really REALLY would like a stable home with people who love me as much as I love them. Just to be clear I LOVE my people so much I would spend every waking and sleeping moment with them if I could. We can cuddle, go for a walk, have a light snake or even a meal. Whatever works for you works for me I am very flexible. So if you are thinking you might just like a little bearded lady like me then come and visit and lets visit. I know you will love me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Helena the Bearded Lady, a Murphysboro Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Murphysboro, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Murphysboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Murphysboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Murphysboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Murphysboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
