My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldie is a healthy, solid, 13 lb, blonde Yorkie mix who we rescued from a high kill city shelter just days after she gave birth to her female puppy Sassy. Goldie wants to be a lap dog and follows her foster mom into every room she goes. She loves to give kisses and her big brown eyes will melt your heart. She was a wonderful mother that has taken care of and guided Sassy since the beginning. Goldie is very versatile. She loves to go on walks, fetch and play with her toys or just lay by your side. She loves to ride in the car too. Now that Sassy is weaned, Goldie has been spayed and had a dental done. Both Goldie and Sassy are excellent watch dogs and do bark when they hear someone near the door. They would thrive in a home that has a fenced or gated yard where they can run and play in a somewhat quiet neighborhood. Goldie is great with children, and both men & women. She is a very loyal dog and will win your heart. While Goldie does get along with other dogs. she can be a bit on the alpha side. As she is on the whole such a sweet lady, this might come from being a bossy mom! Please open your heart and home to this dynamic duo. Though we would love if they can stay together, they can be adopted separately.
