Romeo's Story...
Mija and Romeo are Mother and Son. Daddy was a drifter so that is why Romeo doesn't look very Persian. This pair was turned in to us because the owner is moving to Europe. Some countries require the cats be in quarantine for up to a year. The owner didn't want to do that to her kitties. Mom is a bit shy at the moment, but Romeo is ready to steal your heart right now. Mom is 4yrs old, Romeo is 2.5yrs old. Both are fixed. They have not lived with dogs or children, so NO DOGS & NO CHILDREN UNDER 7yrs of age. If you want to see this pair, please fill out our Application at: One of our volunteers will contact you after we receive the form. Thank you for opening you heart and home to a rescued pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Gilbert Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
