Gigi's Story...
Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Gigi is a beautiful brindle girl with a medium size build. She is gentle and calm and ready to start a more engaging life. She was rescued from an elderly breeder who could no longer care for his multiple Boxers in a very rural area. They all lived in a barn, had social time with each other outside and were well kept. Gigi might not have been exposed to all the excitement of “city life” but she seems to be adjusting well and loves attention. She is ready to become a house dog and enjoy family life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
