AVERY's Story...
Avery ia a 10 month old Hound mix. She weighs about 35 pounds right now and we don't expect her to get much bigger. She really likes to please everyone. She does need to learn some manners. Avery will need a good fenced or only go out when someone is with her. She likes to be with people and will find away out, if left alone. If you would like to meet her please call 972-382-3647 or email adoptionsmoh@gmail.com.
If the dog has not been fixed yet, a voucher will be given to the adopter that will cover the cost at TCAP or they will be kept till they are fixed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AVERY, a Pilot Point Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Pilot Point, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Pilot Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pilot Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pilot Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pilot Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
